Shoe fly don't bother me

They are called little Owl and I love them ... even if they are 4" heels and may lead to the bride's death by tumble. I have actually worn this brand before and I find them incredibly comfortable.

We did invites & center piece numbers and I
sort of plan to update about but the new semester has started.

Wedding glasses?

I know I have said I want to do my own make up because I want to look like myself on the big ol' wedding day ... however recently I have been trolling cheap online glasses and the idea of wedding glasses hit me. Which is probably another pseudo-mask, but I could always take them off (unlike makeup) since I am not that totally blind yet.
So mod:
So hip:

So I sort of really love the second one because it is called East Brewton, which is the same town that my Alabama family is from.
I know they are loud, but I am scared of contacts and if I do it, why not make a statement?
We had already considered having a pair of fake reading glasses to top off the pile of statment books in the table. Too themey? Eh Justification ~ I should probably own a pair of 'fun' glasses anyway.

bang, bang that awful sound, bang bang

Who wouldn't want to look like this:

However in a relatively short period of time I was quickly reminded about why bangs are annoying (static cling, wind, greasy).

ALso they are crooked but I am afraid to mess with them anymore. Slightly longer on the right, more of a slant then a crook. I am trying to convince myself it brings character to my face.
My wandering of Zooey on the internet led me to the newest song out by She & Him, In the Sun. Volume Two should be out March 23rd! Yeay, but it looks like I missed all their new tour dates unless I want to go to Berlin or Coachella. I am sort of doubtful they will annouce more.

Miss Deschanel also seems to be up to some neat things film wise. A Zappa inspired HBO pilot based on '60s icon Pamela Des Barres' I'm With the Band: Confessions Of A Groupie. I will have to keep an eye on this.

Fashion blog?

If only I was fashionable enough to actually blog about it. I dress like a rollar coaster. There are some very high fashion points & then there are also the low, dowdy secretary points & a lot of thrashing arms in between.

I have to thank Tulle for the awesome dress & my lovely boyfriend for accompanying me to the AVAM.

The AVAM was ok. I had been to the other 2 buildings for free before so I guess I was expecting something crazy good for the main exhibition. I liked the items made from tooth picks & matchbooks.

The art car building was my favorite. I had gotten a chance to go there once before, when Cardin had his acceptance party on election night. It housed some art cars & had toys in glass cases. I was a giddy girl pushing buttons, watching the small parts turn & collide. The screen painting exhibition was also in there & was pretty great.
